Three Reasons (and Three Accolades) for How Our Sheldon Office Succeeds

For 10 years, Aventure’s Sheldon branch has worked with local businesses and industry to match the right candidate with the right position and the right company. As it turns out, the Sheldon office itself has it’s own perfect concoction of personalities, talent, and chemistry.

In fact, if Aventure had a yearbook, these are the accolades the staff at the Sheldon office would get, hands down.

Nancy, Most Caring

On top of being caring and careful, Nancy is “great at being fair to all clients and employees, making sure everyone’s best interests are in place.” On top that, Nancy handles all workers’ comp claims and payroll.

“I enjoy the people most of all. I love my co-workers and have a good time with our candidates,” said Nancy. Her knack of finding humor in any situation serves her at work, on the golf course, in her landscaping, and in the crossword puzzles she does to wind down. Nancy will celebrate her 8th year this year!

“Nancy gives 110% to make us successful in Sheldon,” said Gail.

Angela, Most Creative

As the one in the office responsible for contacting initial applicants and setting them up for interviews, Angela is often the first person applicants meet. And meeting people is one of her favorite aspects of the job. Known for her people skills, Angela also “has such attention to detail, is very organized and very fun to work with.”

“Angela keeps the rest of us on our toes and picks up all the loose ends,” said Gail. “She also has formed valuable relationships with the employees that work for us.”

Angela, who celebrates her 8th year with Aventure this year, enjoys the rough-and-tumble, whether it’s an adventure on a family camping trip or the local shopping mall.

Gail, Most Trustworthy

Gail, who celebrates her 10th year with Aventure this year, oversees and supports three Aventure branches, all while growing client relationships, adding new businesses, and acting as a consultant to clients with Human Resources functions. When asked what her favorite parts of her job are, she says, confidently, “Watching candidates succeed at their placements and building relationships with clients.”

Gail is admired for her “superior people skills” and her ability to develop relationships with clients. Says Nancy, “ Gail has a work ethic that is incomparable and an ability to ‘be there’ for people. That is just who she is.”

In her spare time, Gail enjoys gardening and keeping active outside with her family.

Congratulations to Gail, Nancy, and Angela for a job well done. Here’s to several more decades of good working relationships.
